Creating genre-bending performances through the inseparable fusion of dance and design, Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond's work dances on the thresholds of cosmic and earthly, comedy and tragedy, chaos and order – all in honor of the bouyancy of the human spirit. A lawless approach to movement invention and “living” production design blurs the lines of form and formlessness. OIS approaches the theatre as a psychological wilderness where humanity can come into contact with themselves and the unknown in a limitless elsewhere.

The company has an extensive worldwide touring history, including engagements at The Colors Festival, Julidans, Torino Danza, The Kalamata Festival, Theatre Freiburg, and Canada’s National Arts Centre through the support of generous co-producers and awards including CanDance Creation Fund, Chrystal Dance Prize and Agora de la danse Associate Artist Award.
